The Angenieux HR is the third generation of 25mm-250mm zoom lenses made by Angenieux. This time the lens is even faster than the others, going from a 3.9 to a 3.5. The former lenses being considered an industry staple. The lens provides a very sharp and contrasting look while also having little breathing.
Although this is a heavier lens, compared to other lenses that have similar zoom ratios, the HR is actually rather compact. This lens can be used on any of our Super 35 cameras, however when using an expander, it can also be used on any of our full frame cameras as well. This lens covers very large focal range, which has made it a go to for many productions as it can cover a large enough focal range for an entire production
