This Angenieux Zoom covers more than enough focal range for any production. It has a 2.8 T stop and has very little ramping. When fully open, this delivers everything one would want from an angenieux lens with its color, low contrast, and strong vintage character. Many believe that the larger the zoom ration on a zoom lens, the more sacrifices taken on the lens, this is not the case, as many claim it is comparable to prime lenses. For it’s long range it also has a strong close focus.
