The Cooke SP3 series is yet another incredibly reliable lens set from Cooke. This time everything that the Cooke Speed Panchros are known for, now compacted into an even smaller and lighter lens. The SP3 series is color matched with the other Cooke Panchro lenses. This time the lenses are all under 2 lbs and come with an interchangeable E/RF mount. making it that much easier to connect to your mirrorless Sony cameras or Red Cameras.
The SP3 series has the expected “Cooke” look. They also lend themselves to create more depth into an image due to their focus breathing and fall off. Additionally, when fully open the focus falls off near the edges of the frame, keeping the focus sharp in the middle and softer near the edge of the frame, mimicking the way that human eyes see the world. These also capture Specular flares and ensure that the cinematographers can control the flaring. These lenses are also made in mind for the highest quality of digital sensors
