The Laowa Rangers are everything one would want in a zoom. These are incredibly lightweight. With the heaviest being the normal weight of any prime lens. These also have no iris ramping, minimal focus breathing and are parfocal. The Laowas also have interchagable mounts and we can have it set to PL or EF for an order. These also have a very large zoom range, with both going from 28mm to 180mm. making the range of these two lenses beyond that of the average prime set.
These cover all of our full frame cameras. Additionally, the close focus on these is very good. with the minimum for the tighter lens being at 2’9’’. The Rangers also have built in back focus adjustments. This makes calibrating focus very easy when on set. All of these factors put together make it seem as though these stand out very far from other zooms lenses.
